From dated catalog to high-conversion store

We proposed a full UI/UX overhaul for an Islamic online bookstore. Goals: faster discovery, clearer product pages, and a streamlined cart-to-checkout with Arabic RTL and English support.

Scope: faceted search and filters, series and scholar pages, book detail with samples, wishlists, bundles, and subscriptions. Design system to scale across campaigns and seasonal drops.

Expected impact: higher add-to-cart, lower checkout friction, and improved mobile conversion. WCAG AA and schema.org Book for SEO.

Key flows

Discovery: faceted filters (topic, author, madhhab, language, binding), type-ahead with popular queries.

Product detail: clean metadata, previews (PDF sample), related works, and scholar bios.

Cart & checkout: one-page checkout, guest path, COD and online payment, address book, and order tracking.

Account: order history, wishlists, saved searches, and back-in-stock alerts.

System and delivery

Tokens, components, and templates in Figma. RTL-aware grids, spacing, and icon mirroring. A11y: contrast, focus order, keyboard paths, and semantic landmarks.

Tech notes: headless CMS, SSR/ISR pages, image optimization, and schema for Book, BreadcrumbList, and Product. Targets: LCP <2.5s, CLS <0.1.
