Non-custodial trading with clear, fast UX
I designed and managed a decentralized exchange delivered as SaaS. Focus: intuitive trading, transparent fees, safe approvals, and an operator console with live metrics.
Scope: wallet connect and network detection, swap and limit orders, order book view, liquidity add/remove, fee tiers, portfolio, and activity. Operator portal for markets, fees, banners, and analytics.
Results: faster first trade, fewer failed txs via preflight checks, and higher LP retention through clearer rewards and impermanent loss education.
Key flows
Onboarding: wallet connect, chain switch prompts, token lists, and risk notices.
Trading: swap, limit order, slippage and deadline controls, route preview, and gas estimate.
Liquidity: pool selection, price range (if CL), APR breakdown, rewards, and remove flow.
Portfolio: positions, rewards, claim, and tx history with status and links to explorer.
Security, clarity, and operator control
Safety: human-readable approvals, spoofed-token warnings, allowance revoke, and price impact alerts.
Tx resilience: preflight simulation, fallback RPC, retry hints, and error copy tuned for users.
Operator console: market config, fee tiers, liquidity incentives, announcements, and KPI dashboards.
Metrics: conversion to first trade, failed tx rate, LP churn, and route quality. Targets set and tracked.
